By downloading, installing, or using Samveis ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. The App is developed and operated by Mandal Software (arunavm.com). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
Samveis is a group adventure and ride-tracking application that allows users to share their GPS location in real time during outdoor activities. The App also provides route planning, weather forecasts, and GPX export functionality.
Samveis is not a safety device. Do not rely on it in emergency situations. GPS accuracy depends on your device hardware, environment, and network conditions. We do not guarantee exact coordinates or continuous service availability.
For your safety and the safety of others, do not interact with the App while operating a vehicle or engaging in activities that require your full attention. Set up your ride before departure.
You may sign in using Google or Apple authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account access with others.
Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment processing is handled by the respective platform. Refund requests should be directed to the platform where the purchase was made.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You agree not to:
All content, features, and functionality of Samveis — including but not limited to the design, code, graphics, and trademarks — are owned by Mandal Software and are protected by Norwegian and international intellectual property laws.
Route data you create within the App remains your property. By using the App, you grant Mandal Software a limited, non-exclusive licence to process this data solely for providing the service.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
The App integrates with third-party services including OpenStreetMap, yr.no, Open-Meteo, Google AdMob, and RevenueCat. Your interaction with these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mandal Software from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
You may terminate your account at any time by uninstalling the App and requesting data deletion through our contact page.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Norway.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
